Holzwarth Ranch Historic Site Shoot

Friday, we spent some time in the Rocky Mountain National Park at the historic site of Holzwarth Ranch. This is an old homestead and campsite that is now open to park visitors and hikers. Set back a ways from the road, it was the perfect backdrop for this beautiful dress from Piper and Scoot! I introduced this boutique a couple posts ago and am still just as obsessed. This maxi dress is perfect for fall! I love the rich colors, long sleeves, and cutout detail. This dress is on sale right now, so visit the website soon before it is completely sold out! There are only sizes extra small and small left, but I have linked some similar dresses for all sizes above! One thing to note is that the dress is pretty long for me. I am 5' 4" and with three inch heels and a belt to hold the dress up higher on my waist, it was a good length. However, I would not be able to wear flats with this ever, unless I got it hemmed.

I had fully planned on taking a different bag with me for this outfit but didn't realize I had grabbed the wrong one until after we were already in the park. 😆This bucket bag from Zara still works with the look, but you will probably see it later this week in another post! It is sold out, but I have linked some similar styles above. As I said earlier, a belt was necessary with this dress, as I am a little too short for it. I absolutely love this belt from Target! It is a great price, and achieves that western/bohemian vibe that I was going for in most of my looks for this trip. My sock boots were a steal from DSW, and I liked that they enhance the blue flowers in the dress and add a little modern touch.

My jewelry was simple and clean with this look. I chose some stud earrings and modern rings from H&M. There are so many options from this store for jewelry! I love the low prices for sets of earrings and rings. My fringe necklace is from Rocksbox but is sold out. I have linked some similar styles above!
