Mixing Affordable Neutrals

While our trip to Turks and Caicos was almost a month ago already, I decided to post only one a week of the 16 looks we shot for you guys while we were there. It's hard to find a beach in Kansas, so I want to spread them out! This look is a great option for all spring and summer long! I usually don't think of grey and brown as an attractive pair, but there is a rule that all neutrals can work together, and I believe that this is true! The brown accessories with this look give it a more boho vibe, which was perfect for the location.

This jumpsuit from Target is possibly one of the most comfortable items I own. It is made of a wonderfully thick fabric that feels so soft and high quality, although it might be a little warm during the summer months. It was perfect for the 70/80 degree days in the Caribbean. Usually when I think of tropical locations, I don't think of grey, but because an ASOS order didn't show up in time, I rushed to the nearest store I could find to get some clothes for this trip last minute. I tried this on and had to have it!

To give the jumpsuit a more boho vibe to fit my location, I paired it with natural leather and wood accessories. These leather sandals from ASOS were perfect! All of my shoes for this trip were from ASOS and while I love their product, I am about 50/50 with my satisfaction because of order delays. I had ordered clothing for this trip a month in advance and my order was lost. If you do order from ASOS, make sure to order far in advance if you have a specific event you need the items for. Otherwise, they are a wonderful place to shop from with tons of affordable selections!

For the rest of my accessories, I wore a wicker circle bag purchased from Etsy, some wooden flower earrings from Forever 21, sunglasses also from Target, and a Madewell hair scarf (now sold out but similar linked above). These also included the natural/boho element and the scarf provided just a touch of color to the otherwise neutral driven look. I finished off my makeup with a nice, warm pink shade from Kylie Cosmetics.
