Rent the Runway has turned into one of my favorite outlets for making my closet feel fresh, stylish, and exciting. I have had three deliveries so far and just love the quality, selection, and easiness. Using the sweater from the latest box, I created a great date night look that is perfect for the upcoming Valentines Day. It is dressy, yet super comfortable; stylish, yet warm (super important with the weather we have been having)! I also played with color with this look, mixing burgundy with a sweet ballet pink and a white accent.

This C/MEO Collective sweater from Rent the Runway is perfect for cold, winter days when you still want to dress up! It is made of pretty thick, structured, and heavy material, but still remains comfortable and soft. It is fairly fitted and slightly cropped, so it worked perfectly with a skirt, but would still work very well with jeans or slacks, especially high-waisted.

This sweater costs just $40 to rent for four days, or if you subscribe to the Rent the Runway Update (4 styles a month) or Unlimited (I do this one, basically anything you want, whenever you want, 4 at a time), you pay a monthly fee for whatever items you want!

I had originally planned on a different skirt, also from Rent the Runway, to pair with this sweater, but after Gus called me Laura Ingalls Wilder, I had to switch. I'm glad I did, because this skirt from Bohme worked so well with the sweater! Pleated skirts are very in style right now, and I loved the way that the texture worked with the texture of the sweater. This skirt is great for winter and fall and was available in an emerald green (now sold out). While the skirt is made of a lighter material, I wore some sheer tights underneath and was very comfortable outside.

This belt from Kate Spade is a new purchase. I am totally in love with the Kate Spade brand and style, although I wish it were less pricey. Otherwise, my closet would be totally Kate Spade! This belt is perfect for Valentines Day, and will work so well for the winter and spring seasons as well! It has the cutest rhinestone heart buckle and is made from a velvet, ballet pink material. It is also available in black!

I chose one of my favorite pairs of faux suede heels from Naturalizer to pair with the pink Kate Spade belt. Their colors matched perfectly and I think the shoes added to the girly feel of the look. I have shared these shoes in the past in some of my earlier blog posts (see here and here). They are perfect for spring, summer, and winter! I like the innocent, round heel and ankle strap with the covered clasp. While this exact shoe is sold out, I have found some very similar shoes linked above!

For my bag, I chose one of my go-to's, a white top-handle crossbody bag from DSW. I have worn this bag with so many outfits (see here and here), as it has a perfect minimalistic and chic look that goes with anything. I also love the way it pops against an outfit!

I finished off the look with the perfect, pink beaded accent earrings from Rocksbox. They balanced out the look nicely. They are, unfortunately, no longer for sale, although you might be able to find them if you have a Rocksbox subscription. I have found two other options for you linked above!

Last, but not least, I wore a pretty, and fitting, shade of pink lipstick (Puppy Love) from Kylie Cosmetics.
