I have had the craziest several weeks because of the musical and Gus starting a new business, among many other different obligations. On top of that, the internet has been pretty bad lately at our house! Because of all of this, staying on top of my blog has been pretty hard but things should start to get less crazy after a while. This busy season is how I know it is fall, however, even if the weather doesn't feel like it. We have been in the upper 80's or even 90's lately but we finally woke up to a cold first day of fall!
This dress from the latest Gal Meets Glam collection has been perfect for this weather! I love how versatile it is and can't wait to style it with some tights and cute booties when it finally does cool off. This dress is extremely flattering and even though it is a little shorter than this brand usually goes, it is still appropriate to wear to just about any event/location! This dress also comes in a gorgeous red color and is still available at Nordstrom or Gal Meets Glam!
These Louise et Cie shoes have to be my all time favorites! They are so unique and make me incredibly happy! On top of being the chicest shoes of all time, they are extremely comfortable, with a heel of (I think) 3 inches. I could wear them all day. I LOVE the plaid pattern and have seen plaid shoes popping up everywhere lately. I am obsessed and will probably have a closet full of them when the season is over... This exact pair was for sale for the Nordstrom Sale a couple months ago and I snagged it on its second restock. I have linked them above in case they are restocked again and have also included some similar options!
Last week, I dove into the Topshop bag selection at Nordstrom to get some new fall stuff and stumbled on this beauty! It also comes in a snake print that is equally pretty. I love the unique chain strap and its great texture. So far, it seems to be great quality and will go with everything!
I finished off my look with some gorgeous H&M accessories! These gold hoop earrings were the perfect amount of polish and elegance and, paired with the tortoiseshell hair clip, were such fall vibes. I also wore my new favorite shade for the season, the Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Disorderly.
