I don't wear blazers all that often. When I think of blazers, the outfit that first comes to mind is a suit or a pencil skirt and a briefcase. While those looks are often necessary for many people, I wanted to step outside of the box a little. I found an adorable, polka dot print blazer from Rent the Runway and set out on a mission to style it in four different and unique ways. This blazer is so fun and great for year-round wear. It fits true to size but the sleeves are a bit loose. I wore mine rolled up because of this, and also because of the summer heat!

Since fall is quickly approaching, thank God, I did want to do an outfit with some booties and a nice pair of skinny jeans! I added a lace top and patterned bag for some texture. I like to play with texture and patterns by mixing and matching. This lace top and bag both have a zig-zag pattern in common that contrasts well with the polka dot pattern of the blazer! The white booties and white in the bag tie the look together with the blazer.
Outfit #2- Formal Fashion

Pearls and polka dots go so well together! I embraced the white color in the blazer and styled it with my favorite white dress, heels and bag! I belted the blazer to give it a feminine shape. I finished off the look with a pearl headband and pretty pearl earrings from Sparkling Jewelry Box! This look can be worn for work, a date night, or even a formal event!
Outfit #3- Cool and Casual

For something totally different, I wanted to style the blazer for a super casual day. This look is a little outside of my comfort zone, but I absolutely loved it! It was so comfortable! These jeans from Target are my new favorites. I just bought them in cream color as well! I loved pairing a graphic tee and backpack with the blazer as well.
Outfit #4- Polka Pop of Color

When planning out this post, I realized that I had a dress in basically the exact same pattern and color as the blazer! This look is a play on the typical "business suit" but a slightly more fun version! Since the blazer and dress matched, I added a pop of color with these great color-blocked shoes and pink bag and then matched my lipstick to them. Since the blazer wouldn't close, I got a little creative and used a cute little pin to fasten it. I finished the look off with an adorable polka dot bandana that adds even more fun! This look is great for work, time with friends, shopping, anything!
