I absolutely LOVE this time of year. Since starting my blog, I have paid so much more attention to my environment and surroundings, as I try to look for fresh places to take pictures all the time. I get excited for sunny days, foggy days, and even snowy days! Now, I am excited for all of the gorgeous flowering trees and bushes that are everywhere! For this shoot, we visited my in-law's beautiful home and enjoyed their spring colors.
I am so in love with this dress from Chicwish! It is, seriously, my dream spring dress. I love the sheer detailing of the top and the texture of the flowers. The fabric is light and airy, perfect for a nice, sunny day. Blush is probably my favorite color ever. It is so pretty and feminine, and pops well against the yellow background. This dress is perfect for date night or a spring wedding!
These pretty kitten heels from Lulus were such a great pairing with the Chicwish dress. They added a little sparkle to the look without being overbearing or overly dressy. I have had them in my closet for a while, so it was nice to have a look that worked so perfectly with them!
I recently discovered Aldo and was so surprised by the quality and affordability of their products! They have such cute bags and shoes. They look almost designer but don't cost an arm and a leg! I love this particular bag because of its cute floral pattern that is perfect for spring! I also thought pearl accents would work so well with this look, so I wore a freshwater pearl bracelet that was a gift from my mom and an old faux pearl ring.
I finished off the look with pearl earrings that were a gift from Gus (I have linked a similar pair above) and some soft and pretty pink makeup using a wonderful spring shade by Kylie Cosmetics.
