Gus and I spent Valentines Day morning walking around Central Park and enjoying the fairly warm day..for being mid February.. There was still some snow left on the ground from the weather we had on our way into the city, but that didn't keep us from enjoying our day! We walked to the middle of the park to the beautiful Bathesda Fountain and Terrace, where a guitarist was serenading everyone walking by with love songs. I always love that about New York City; you never know what you are going to experience! Even though there was still a bit of snow, I couldn't help but feeling excited for the approaching season and was inspired to wear a spring outfit!
This very pretty sweater from Rebecca Taylor has my heart. It is the perfect pastel purple color for spring while still being thick enough to be very warm. It is a great transition piece to wear as we approach the warmer weather. Pastel colors have been very in style for the last couple winters as well! This sweater is on sale right now, so move fast! If you don't snag one, don't worry, I am linking three other great lavender sweaters above!
What says spring better than a beautiful, pastel, tulle skirt? I love it's cute playfulness and feminine/girly vibe. This skirt from Morning Lavender is a light, fun, and super affordable! They have a bunch of different colors. It fits true to size and is good quality. It can be slightly sheer with the lighter colors especially, so wear beige underwear and all is well!
For my shoes, I chose these beautiful pastel blue kitten heels from Sole Society. While all three of my articles of clothing have been different colors, I tied them together with my accessories and felt that they paired very well! I have learned that you can pretty much pair any colors together.. except maybe dark green and red when it isn't Christmas time.. and it's even better if you tie them together with a print!
The star of this look that tied everything together was this gorgeous floral scrunchy/hair tie from Headbands of Hope! I am so excited to announce that this is my first sponsored product! I couldn't be happier that this is the first brand that I rep, as their mission is just amazing. For every headband/hair product that is purchased from Headbands of Hope, a headband/ hair product is given to a child with cancer. I love that they can help a child that is struggling with a life-threatening disease to feel beautiful and cared for. I highly suggest checking out their website! They have so many amazing products.
For the remainder of my accessories, I chose these adorable heard earrings from Rocksbox, a Lauren Ralph Lauren belt from Macys (now sold out but similar linked above), and a bracelet, also from Rocksbox! They were the perfect accessories to pull the entire look together. My lipstick was from Kylie Cosmetics. I absolutely love her creme lipsticks, as they are creamy, super pigmented, stay on all day and never dry out! This shade, Passion, was very fitting for Valentines Day.
