Happy last day of November! After a hectic week last week, I finally had some time a couple days ago to put up Christmas decorations at my studio! I have said this a million times already, but I love love love this time of year. I have always enjoyed Christmas for its sheer magic, joy, and peace. Plus, winter clothing styles are my absolute favorite. Bring on the layers, sparkles, and jewel tones! Until this shoot, Gus and I have taken pictures strictly outside, but because of the outfit I chose and the cold weather, we took advantage of the fresh Christmas decor and did our first indoor shoot! We are still learning, but this turned out to be one of my favorites. This outfit embraces the special feeling I have during the holiday season and is great for parties, or even as a New Years look!
This Gal Meets Glam Dress from their recently launched Holiday Collection is absolutely darling. This collection embraced reds, pinks, and blacks (all great winter colors) and holiday flair and style. They are all great pieces for parties and get-togethers for the season. This dress, in particular, caught my eye. It is so unique with the blush sequin fabric, puff sleeves, and great fit. The fit and flair shape is my favorite kind of dress, as I believe it is flattering on ANY body type. The beautiful tie around the waist breaks up the look (adds dimension and visual interest) and cinches in the waist to create an even more attractive shape. I am so excited to wear this dress to holiday parties this season!
This fur stole from Ann Taylor is a great piece that I included on my Holiday Gift Guide for her. It is so adorable and the softest thing ever... It also matched the color of this dress perfectly. This is a wonderful accessory to help you stay warm during the winter season and can be worn either tucked like seen above, or straight like a scarf. Pair this with a red or blush colored coat and you have a complete outfit to arrive in style.
I have had these Louise et Cie heels for a couple years now, and absolutely love them! The suede fabric is sold out but I did find the exact shoes in red leather (also available in five or six color ways) on the Nordstrom website! I chose these heels for their festive feel and nod to the color scheme of the Gal Meets Glam holiday collection. They added just the perfect pop of color to the look! These heels are also some of the most comfortable pairs that I own. The height (3") is the perfect height for me and the overall fit is fantastic and true to size!
This bag is an old purchase from Target, so it is no longer available. I did link some great, similar choices above! I felt that this bag added some balance to the outfit. It's sleek lines and neutral color rounds out this look and keeps it from looking too dressy. For a more formal event, style this look with a clutch like this or this.
My accessories were the perfect cherry on top of this outfit. They just arrived a couple days ago as part of my Rocksbox delivery! I talk about Rocksbox a lot, but it really is a great way to build your jewelry collection. I find it hard to shop for jewelry in stores or even online, because it is hard to see what the pieces will look like with the outfits in your closet. With Rocksbox, I get three items with each box that I can try on, keep as long as I want, and send back if I didn't care for them or keep if I did! These rhinestone earrings were perfect for this outfit. Paired with the simple and delicate gold bracelet, these two items polished off the holiday look. I linked similar pieces above, but you can get your hands on the exact items by subscribing to Rocksbox and adding them to your favorites!

Last, but not least, is this beautiful lip color from Kylie Cosmetics. She just launched her Holiday Collection as well that includes amazing choices. I always try to get her 8 piece mini sets, as you get a great deal and lots of color choices. Even though the amount is smaller, they still last me a very long time. This set is sold out (I did link it anyways, just in case it gets restocked), but I have found some similar colors linked above.
More Pictures Below!
Here's wishing everyone a wonderful December!
